TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

What are the subjects I will study?

The new TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment has a different and more exciting structure than the previous qualification (The BSZ40198  Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training).

What training materials and training aids will I use?

When you enrol in your open-learning TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment open learning distance education course we will send you
the first cluster of five units towards your training program.  There are three clusters involved and all these are included in your fee.  There is no more to pay.   Your course fees includes all training material, assessments and certification.

If you have elected for the repayment plan option please ensure that you have honoured the repayment commitment.  If you have not made any repayments, our friendly student support staff will contact you and offer a reminder.  Please understand we are unable to release further clusters until you have honoured your agreement.

If you have paid for the course fees in full, your new cluster will be sent to you automatically--there is no need for you to do anything.

When your enrolment has been processed, you will also be notified of your login details to our exclusive support website.  This website will play a pivotal role in your studies and further professional development.

Safecity's resources for this course are second to none.  We provide additional needed and useful training tools over and above standard training manuals.  These include:

1. Noted Manuals and Learning Resources (this means that these manuals and resources have been viewed by the National Training Authority DEST and that they satisfy their requirements).  Our Learning Kit is packed with must know information, learning activities and projects which will keep you enthralled and enthusiastically involved in your project.  Over 500 pages of valuable information on workplace training delivery techniques and standards.
2. A CD-ROM Toolbox.  This is a new exciting, easy to use interactive learning resource that will make your course material come alive and give you hands-on, practical examples and activities.
3. E-mail Support: Your instructor is always available through E-mail support. 
4. Telephone Support: You may call 02-63355216 between 7pm and 8pm on Monday, Wednesday, Friday each week.  Students are entitled to a call back service.
5. Support website with access to additional resources, chatroom and networking capacity.

How will you assess me?

1. Workbook Written Assignments
2. Video Tape assignment activities
3. Project work and reports (Session Plans of a Training and Assessment Session)

How long will it take me to complete this course?

Remember that as an open learning distance education student your are in charge on how long the course will last . When you have lodged and successfully completed the assignment activities (achieved competency) you will receive your nationally recognised certificate IV assessment workplace training certification.

Most students take between eighteen weeks and eight months to complete the program.  At Safecity we realise that some students may not have a lot of time to dedicate to study.  For this reason, your enrolment will remain active for 12 months.

When you enrol, our friendly student support service will discuss your training needs and provide you with a detailed learning plan customised just for you!  Stick to this generous plan--it is there to help you achieve your goal as soon as practicable.  Of course, you can always alter the plan as your needs change.
 

However, DON'T PANIC! Your tutor will suggest strategies that you can use to not only excel in your course but also improve your chances of obtaining a good job.  Sorry, you have to enrol in our course to find out what these suggestions are! 

At Safecity Training Academy, you are not just a "fee-paying student number".  You are part of our family of successful and apprentice successful graduates!
 

• $1495 for mail delivery.  This includes all the manuals, CD Toolbox and additional learning resources not usually included in other courses of this nature
. You will need these resources as a reference for the rest of your career as an industry trainer.   Beware of cheap courses that offer little resources to assist your learning.
• $995 for express download delivery mode.  Download the training material and save $500 on course fees!  You still get all the resources above but in download form.  The CD Toolbox is also available as a download from your student support website.  This website contains a wealth of other resources, links and answers to frequently asked questions that will keep you updated and that will help you excel in your studies.

You can pay your course fees in two ways:

• Pay the full fee
• Pay a non-refundable deposit of $150.  We do not charge interest or additional fees for this option!  Discuss your budget with our friendly student support staff and make regular payments to pay the balance before you complete the program.  Students who select the payment plan service enjoy the same privileges as full-fee paying students.  When we receive your registration details we enrol you in the program, assign your tutor, and depending on your choice of enrolment, deliver your training material.  Please note the Academy will be unable to release your certification until you have paid the outstanding balance.

Our fee is all inclusive. Nationally recognised certificates are awarded at the completion of the course and delivered to you by registered mail.

WARNING ABOUT COURSES OFFERED BY NON-REGISTERED TRAINING ORGANISATIONS:  If you enrol in a TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment conducted by a trainer that is not registered, your certificate will not be recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. 

You can check if a training organisation is registered by conducting a search in the National Training Information Service Database.

Yes.  RPL for TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is available from us.

There have been considerable changes in the new Workplace Training qualification. Therefore, I greatly encourage you to take the plunge and enroll in the full course. As a professional trainer, you surely want to be fully informed about your craft and the many tools you can use to benefit your students (and your career and finances).

 Is your course industry specific?

The TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is not industry specific--it can be transported across any industry.  Almost all industries now require their trainers to have this qualification.  This is particularly true for Government, educational organisations such as TAFE and Colleges, and Corporate Australia.

Our manuals and lesson plans are not industry specific.  The nature of the program is such that you can quickly adapt your lesson plans to any training environment.
